Pogradec police have identified the suspected perpetrator of the gunshot wound to 35-year-old Brian Syzo and have declared him wanted.

Preliminary investigations have focused on previous conflicts between the parties, as the injured person appears to be a person with a criminal record and it is suspected that the incident is related to a chain of old clashes.

According to the Police, the suspect has been identified as Nikolla Agolli, who is suspected of having fired a gun at Brian Syzos, wounding him in the leg.

Investigative sources indicate that the objective was not to eliminate the 35-year-old, but to injure him, while it is suspected that the incident is the result of an earlier conflict between them.

In January 2025, Nikolla Agolli himself was injured in a barbershop in neighborhood no. 1 of Pogradec, where the suspected perpetrator was Sindi Syzo, Brian's brother.

Pogradec Police Announcement:

"Around 1:15 p.m., in neighborhood no. 3, it is suspected that, during a conflict, citizen NA shot and wounded citizen BS, about 35 years old, in the leg, who is receiving treatment in hospital and is out of danger.

Police services are continuing intensive checks to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator of the injury.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to clarify the circumstances of the conflict and legally document the event.
