The Socialist Party has taken the first move after the departure of MP Marjana Koçeku from the parliamentary group, after the latter announced a short while ago her separation from the Socialist Party and joined the citizens' protest.

Koçek will no longer be part of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association, where he will be replaced by MP Erion Malaj.

The decision was announced in the plenary session by the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, who explained that the change was requested by the Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.

" At the request of the chairman of the SP group, the replacement of deputies in the committees has been requested. In the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association, deputy Marjana Koçeku is leaving as a member and deputy Erion Malaj is being appointed in her place," Peleshi declared during the session.

This is the first official change in Koçek's parliamentary representation, following her decision to leave the Socialist Party.
