The situation was accompanied by tensions and calls against the government during the protest held since 10:00 in front of the Parliament.

In a sign of revolt, protesters threw eggs at officials' vehicles as they left the Parliament premises.

According to footage from the scene, the protesters have expressed dissatisfaction with the government, continuing with calls and accusations against the government cabinet.

Earlier during the protest, the vehicles of several other officials were also pelted with eggs, including the car of Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu, as well as the vehicles of Socialist Party MP Tërmet Peçi and Finance Minister Petrit Malaj.

Following the incident and the escalation of the situation, the Rapid Intervention Force (RINF) also intervened in the area to normalize order and avoid further clashes between protesters and security forces.
