The protest held today in front of Parliament was accompanied by tensions between citizens and police officers. They dragged and raped citizens.
The video below shows police officers dragging a young protester to the ground. Despite other citizens calling for his release, the officers continued to hold him down and then handcuffed him.
The episode was recorded at the moment when the protester was pelted with eggs by one of the government ministers' cars.
Today's protest was a continuation of the rallies that have been held for a month in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Citizens have articulated the demand for Rama's removal within 30 days.
