Tensions in front of the Parliament, MEP Paulus for "Politico":

German MEP Jutta Paulus has reacted after the tensions noted on Tuesday in front of Parliament, where the protest against the resort project in Zvërnec was accompanied by clashes between protesters and police.

Paulus, who participated in Monday's protest alongside MEPs Tineke Strik and Anna Strolenberg, told Politico "violence is never acceptable . "

Paulus said he had not seen violence or harsh language at the protests he had attended on Monday, describing a "friendly atmosphere" and "many families with children."

On Tuesday, about 200 protesters gathered outside the parliament as lawmakers arrived for a plenary session. Eggs were thrown at lawmakers' vehicles during the protest, and protesters then clashed with police officers.

The citizens were forcibly dragged away by the police and 6 of them were escorted to the police station.
