The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has made strong accusations from the Assembly, claiming that foreign actors, including the Kremlin, are behind the protests taking place in Tirana.

During his speech at the plenary session, Balla also said that the protests are not only an expression of civic dissatisfaction, but according to him, they may also have external influences aimed at destabilizing the country.

"A few days separate us when the time for dialogue with you who had real concerns is coming. We are ready to listen to and reflect on the sincere reasons for the protest. I am confident that the Flamengo citizenry will distance itself from the violence of criminal elements."

"Whoever in Albania cannot believe that there is a foreign hand here that is paying money to destabilize Albania, must clearly understand that here it is not only Iran or neighboring countries that do not want to see Albania developed in tourism, but also the Kremlin ," said Balla.
