Parliament is armored before the protest, SP MPs enter early to avoid protesters

Parliament has been placed under increased security measures ahead of the plenary session and the protest announced by citizens against the government.

A metal fence has been placed at the entrance to the building, while police have restricted movement in the area surrounding the Parliament. It is reported that the entrances from the pedestrian area and the Tirana Castle area, where only MPs and authorized personnel are allowed to pass, have been blocked.

At 10:00 AM, another protest is expected to begin in front of Parliament, where citizens will express their opposition to the government, a few days after clashes with the police during the last rally.

To avoid contact with protesters, some Socialist Party MPs have arrived early at the Parliament premises. So far, Minister Igli Hasani and MP Lindita Nikolla have been seen entering the building.
