Tensions have shifted to the entrance to the pedestrian zone near the Ministry of Interior, where protesters clashed with police forces while trying to cross the security cordon.

Citizens attempted to remove the metal fence placed by the officers to block the entrance, while shouts such as "Crime police" and "This is our street" were heard.

Meanwhile, the protest has split into two groups. Some protesters continue to stand in front of the Parliament building, where the plenary session is taking place, while others have marched towards Police Station No. 4, where activists who were earlier escorted by police are being held.

During the protest, citizens repeated their demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, as well as calling on MPs to surrender their mandates.
