Moments of tension were recorded this Thursday in front of the Parliament building, where protesters had gathered to oppose the government, while the area was cordoned off by numerous police forces.

The spotlight fell on a member of parliament who, accompanied by bodyguards as he entered the Parliament premises, was seen making a provocative gesture with two fingers towards the protesters. The action caused immediate reactions and tense the situation for a few moments.

The person in question is Social Democratic Party (PSD) MP Besnik Brahimi. Following his gesture, police intervened to keep the situation under control, and there were also clashes with some of the protesters.

Footage shows the moment when Brahimi, surrounded by bodyguards and under tight security measures, enters the Parliament, while his gesture towards protesters has ignited tensions outside the Parliament building.
