The situation in front of the Parliament building has escalated significantly, after the police intervened with tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Following the tensions, law enforcement has begun escorting a large number of people. According to footage from the scene, some protesters are seen lying on the ground in handcuffs, while police officers have formed a cordon to prevent filming of the escort moments.

The area around Parliament has become a point of conflict between protesters and police, where moments of violence and the use of hard objects against officers, as well as damage to a police vehicle, have previously been reported.
