Another request for Balluk's arrest? Braho: I can tell you two things...

The head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, was asked by the Laws Committee whether the Special Prosecution Office will again address the Assembly with the request for the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, after the addition of new charges.

Speaking at the Laws Committee, Braho stated that SPAK has continued its investigations into this issue, while decision-making will be based on the law, taking into account the reasons that the Assembly decided against lifting immunity.

Braho : I can tell you two things, you have clear SPAK's position as well as the way SPAK has continued the investigations without any rejection of the request. The facts show that SPAK has done its job. These elements do not create conviction or doubt about SPAK's integrity in a high-profile case. I cannot predict the decision-making of the cases under investigation. What I guarantee is that it will be a decision-making guaranteed by law, on the evidence provided by the investigation, taking into account the reasons why the parliament decided to reject the request.
