Boçi: Violence against protesters shows the panic of a government on the

Democratic Party MP, Luciano Boçi, has reacted after clashes between police and protesters during the protest held in front of Parliament, accusing the government of using violence against citizens.

Through a Facebook post, Boçi described the police intervention as a sign of the government's "panic and decadence", while saying that the images of citizens being beaten, dragged and raped constitute a serious indictment of the way power is being exercised.

The Democratic MP stated that the use of force against protesters is not a sign of strength, but evidence of the fear of a government that, according to him, has lost the support of its citizens.

"The images of citizens being beaten, dragged, raped, and humiliated by the uniform that was supposed to protect them are not simply police abuse. They are a public indictment of a government that has turned the state into a private fence and the police into a protective cordon of its own fear."

"Violence against protesting citizens is not force. It is panic to the core. The boundless savagery against free people, who take to the streets to demand dignity, justice and accountability, proves the panic of a government that senses its end... But Edi Rama and his drug regime no longer have any answers, no legitimacy, no morality. He uses violence because he has lost his reason ," writes Boçi.
