Erdogan attacks Israel again: They are addicted to war!

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has again attacked the Israeli government, calling it "addicted to war" and accusing it of fueling tensions in the Middle East and undermining efforts to reduce tensions through diplomacy.

"We, for our part, have supported and continue to support every step that will contribute to reducing tension in our region and resolving problems through diplomacy," he said, adding that Ankara is monitoring "with particular attention" the movements of the Israeli government, which it accuses of aiming to undermine the consensus.

The Turkish president spoke of a "Zionist leadership", which he described as a "group of butchers", claiming that it links its political survival to the continuation of conflicts in the region, while noting that it "especially does not leave Lebanon and Syria alone".

"We must not allow the current Israeli government, which is addicted to war, to once again plunge our geographical region into the smell of gunpowder and blood," he stressed, underlining that Turkey seeks a regional order where all residents, regardless of religion, will live in peace and security.
