This is Rozina Lazkanin, a 36-year-old actress known for her work in Syrian television series, who has been appointed a member of the People's Assembly by interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa.

The new parliament, the first since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, was completed on July 1, 2026, after the interim president appointed the final 70 deputies to the 210-seat legislative body.
