5 heavy-duty vehicles were destroyed by the fire, which is suspected to have been intentional.

The incident occurred in the village of Shpërdhet, in Kurbin, where 5 heavy-duty vehicles caught fire at the quarry that is under the administration and use of the citizen with the initials B. A.

It is suspected that the fire was set by still unidentified persons, while work continues to clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator(s), and complete legal documentation of the case.

On 04.07.2026, at around 02:30, citizen BA announced that in the village of Shpërdhet, at the quarry he manages and uses, 5 heavy-duty vehicles caught fire, suspected to have been set by unidentified persons.

An investigative group was immediately established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator(s), and fully document the case legally.
