Tension continues to simmer in front of the Tirana Court, where dozens of citizens, activists and family members of arrested protesters continue to await the decision.

While a session is taking place inside on the security measures for detainees following the July 2 protest, outside the building protesters have increased their calls and warned that they will not retreat until the detainees are released.

In front of the court, chants were constantly heard: "Rama in jail, the boys out! All of Albania wanted this!", while participants described the detention of the protesters as an attempt to curb the civic reaction.

According to them, if the court does not decide to release those arrested, the protests will continue and intensify in the coming days.
