Journalist Renaldo Salianji stated that Edi Rama's government committed another shame today, saying that it has closed the border with Kosovo in an attempt to prevent Albanians from there from joining the massive civic revolt.

During his speech to thousands of protesters, he declared that Kosovo Albanians do not ask about Edi Rama's beams to be near their brothers and sisters in Albania. The journalist also mocked the government as he said that it does not have fire extinguishers to put out fires, but water trucks to disperse peaceful protesters.

"I saw a grandfather, father and grandson coming to protest. You understand how sad it is for three generations to have the same desire, how sad it must be for a politician to be hated by everyone from children to pensioners. Today the Albanian state has committed another shame.

In a panic, it closed the border with Kosovo in the hope that Kosovo Albanians would not come here. Albanians did not close the border for the sake of Yugoslavia and not for Edi Rama's beams to be close to each other. They found their way and are here today in the square with us.

"This country doesn't have fire trucks to put out fires in the summer, but it has water trucks to disperse peaceful protesters. If the money that was used to buy those water trucks that throw water on protesters had been used to buy fire trucks today, we would have more forests and fewer corrupt politicians," he said.
