The diaspora continues to be part of the civic protest against the government, participating in the 36th rally held in Tirana.
During the protest, a representative of Albanians living abroad addressed the audience, stating that the diaspora has joined citizens in demanding political change.
He described Prime Minister Edi Rama as "Europe's last autocrat" and demanded his resignation, as well as the creation of a technical government that, according to him, would guarantee the development of democratic processes.
"On behalf of the diaspora, I guarantee you that Albania is a heavy stone in our hearts and we will be here with you until the realization of democratic processes. This is the most beautiful protest of the last 36 years. Stay united, because the diaspora is on your side ," he said during his speech at the protest.
