Berisha: We will not participate in parliamentary sessions without considering

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that opposition MPs will not participate in parliamentary sessions until the amendments proposed by them, which are related to the protesters' demands, are presented to the Assembly.

Berisha explained that the DP does not consider its stance as a boycott of parliament, but as non-participation in plenary sessions, while continuing to work in committees.

"We have not boycotted parliament. We have announced non-participation in parliamentary sessions and not in committees, as long as Edi Rama does not block the presentation in parliament of the amendments submitted by our deputies," Berisha declared.

Berisha said that the failure to present these initiatives in the Assembly constitutes a violation of the rights of the opposition and disregard for the demands of citizens who have protested.

"Keeping them without presenting them in parliament is a very serious insult to the opposition, the protest and to Albanians. It is a violation of the constitutional rights of opposition MPs," said the leader of the Democratic Party.
