Protest in front of Parliament/ Progni reports Ulsi Manja's bodyguard: He

IT expert and activist Gent Progni has filed a criminal report at Police Station No. 1 in Tirana, following the serious incident where he was raped on July 2 at a protest in front of Parliament.

In a statement to the media, Progni revealed the behind-the-scenes events of the July 2 incident, directly accusing the bodyguard of the SP MP, Ulsi Manja.

Progni has revealed his version of the incident, directly accusing the bodyguard of Socialist Party MP Ulsi Manja, as well as police officers, for the way the case was handled. According to him, the report was filed against Saimir Koka, whom he identifies as the person who raped him during the protest.

"I just filed a report against Saimir Koka, the person who raped me, Ulsi Manja's bodyguard. He punched me over 100 times," he said.

According to Progni, the conflict started after he and other protesters were insulted by Socialist MP Ulsi Manja, and they responded by hitting him with eggs.

"We were provoked by MP Ulsi Manja, cursing us with the most vulgar language that could exist. We responded with eggs, and at this moment the police came to arrest me. Below, this Saimir Koka hit me several times with his fists. I was placed in a defensive position with my hands on my head and he hit me even though I was lying down," he said.
