Bardhi attacks Rama: Albanians should not pay for the failure of a private

The Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding the financing of Kanye West's concert.

In a public reaction, Bardhi stated that the normalization of arrogance and misgovernance is leading to the weakening of state institutions. According to him, Albanian citizens, who face economic difficulties, cannot be forced to pay for the failures of private activities.

Bardhi accused the prime minister of using public funds for purposes that are not related to the interests of citizens, citing problems in healthcare, education, and the low level of salaries and pensions.

He stressed that the state budget should not be used to cover the losses of private activities.

Gazment Bardhi's reaction:

When evil, arrogance, and misrule become normalized, the collapse of the state becomes inevitable.

Today, Edi Rama told the poorest people in Europe, with the lowest salaries on the continent, that since an unparalleled instigator of hatred between peoples failed to hold a concert, tickets were not sold and citizens boycotted it, then the cost of this failure must be paid by Albanians, on the orders of Edi Rama.

What impudence! That money is not his. It is the money of Albanian citizens, who cannot find medicine in hospitals, have schools without dignified conditions, receive the lowest salaries and pensions in the region and benefit from economic assistance at ridiculous levels. The state budget is not a fund to finance private activities. No way!

The only solution is to cancel the concert, as has been done in several European countries. Albanians have no reason to pay with their taxes for the consequences of a private activity or for spreading hatred.
