Fire on Kuzum Baba hill in Vlora, flames endanger homes and Tekke

A fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon on the Kuzum Baba hill, in the city of Vlora, burning bushes and low vegetation.

After being alerted, the Vlora Fire Service immediately intervened in the area, working to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading to residential areas.

Concern remains high as several homes are located near the fire, as well as the Kuzum Baba Tekke, one of the city's most important religious and historical buildings, so authorities are continuing the operation to protect them.
