Officer in Fier suspended, linked to perpetrator of violence against 17-year-old

A police officer has been suspended in Fier, after allegedly violating regulations by having relations with the girls who raped the 17-year-old, an event made public a few days ago.

This news was announced by the head of the State Police, Skënder Hita, who said that "the police officer has entered into an unnecessary relationship with the girls who committed the illegal act."

"The police officer involved in the Fier incident is not known to have released the video or made it public to the media, but his suspension was ordered for violating standards and seriously damaging the image of the police officer on duty, after he entered into an unnecessary relationship with the girls who committed this illegal act," said Hita.
