Accused by SPAK of violations in tenders, Jonaid Myzyri is appointed head of the

Jonaid Myzyri has been appointed to the position of Centralized Purchasing Operator, succeeding Arlinda Pogajn, who has resigned.

Myzyri previously served as the chairman of the Public Procurement Commission.

But his name has also been mentioned in the context of an investigation launched by SPAK, related to public procurement procedures conducted in the period 2020–2023.

On June 24, 2024, the former head of Public Procurement was officially indicted by SPAK.

The charge relates to the tender for the maintenance of the Shpal-Ura e Repsit road axis with a total length of 58.7 km and a value of 2.29 million euros.

In addition to Jonaid Myzyraj, 10 other people have been charged in this procurement procedure, 7 of whom are accused of violating equality in public tenders, committed in collaboration.
