A serious incident has been recorded in the village of Arst, in the municipality of Fushë-Arrëz. A married couple was raped by still unidentified persons.

According to information, the perpetrators entered the apartment of citizens Skënder Nika and Bardhe Nika, where they are suspected of exercising physical violence against them.

Sources say that one of the main leads in the investigation is related to suspicions that the couple may have previously reported plots planted with narcotics.

 For this reason, investigators do not rule out the possibility that the incident occurred for revenge motives.

After the incident, police forces arrived in the area and began investigations to identify and capture the perpetrators, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
