Secret destination in Europe where US-Iran deal expected to be signed revealed

A provisional agreement between the United States and Iran, which aims to end the war in the Middle East, could be signed on Friday in the mountain resort of Buergenstock in central Switzerland, Reuters writes .

According to a statement by the Swiss Foreign Ministry published on Tuesday, Swiss authorities have been in close contact with the US, Iran, Pakistan and Qatar regarding the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran.

"At this stage, the signing is planned for Friday, June 19, in Buergenstock, in the canton of Nidwalden. The location has been proposed by Pakistani and Qatari mediators, as well as the US and Iran," the statement said.
