Milan finds Igli Tara's replacement after dismissal

A decisive week awaits Milan.

Although the club has not yet made the names official for key positions such as coach, technical director and sports director, signals from Italy indicate that key decisions could be made very soon.

Club owner Gerry Cardinale appears set to give final approval to appoint Rúben Amorim as manager. The Portuguese coach is considered the frontrunner to take over at the Rossoneri and is expected to travel to Italy to finalise the deal.

According to reports, Amorim will sign a two-year contract with the option of extending for another season. The agreement foresees a salary of around 3.5 million euros net per year, as well as bonuses linked to the club's sporting objectives, including winning the championship and qualifying for the Champions League.

The club sees him as the ideal profile to start a new cycle, thanks to his young age, international experience and modern style of play. He has also been supported by Zlatan Ibrahimović, who reportedly considers him the most suitable candidate for Milan's new project.
