The amnesty draft is approved, Manja 'extends a hand' to the

The Laws Committee has approved the amnesty bill, paving the way for its consideration in a plenary session. However, the meeting was accompanied by debates between the majority and the opposition regarding the content of the draft and the scope of beneficiaries.

During the discussions, former Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, sought the broadest possible support for the approval of the amnesty in the Assembly, inviting opposition MPs to vote in favor of the initiative.

On the other hand, MP Arjan Ndoji declared that he would support the draft, but stressed that according to him, the amnesty is not as comprehensive as it should be.

The debate also took on an ironic tone when MP Gjin Gjoni addressed Manja, saying that the majority was seeking additional votes after the Shkodra MP left the parliamentary group.

Excerpts from the debate:

Ulsi Manja: There are no objections, no abstentions, it is approved. On the 18th, I also invite the opposition to pass with 140 votes, even though 84 are needed.

Arjan Ndoji: I will vote in favor there as well, but I will say it so that even those who are lawyers and those who benefit can hear it, so that they know that you have the amnesty as an initiative, but you are not making it complete. We are to extend it even wider.

Ulsi Manja: Everyone will talk about amnesty there, it's a moment when all the MPs speak. Say it all, but the important thing is to unite your vote with us.

Gjin Gjoni: I understand that you lost an MP and you want votes.

Ulsi Manja: Yes, yes.
