A serious air accident has shocked the United States, where a plane used for skydiving crashed moments after takeoff, killing all on board.

According to authorities, there were 11 parachutists and the pilot on board the plane, who died in the accident near Butler Memorial Airport in Missouri.

The incident occurred near the city of Butler, when the aircraft took off at around 11:20 a.m. According to preliminary information, the aircraft encountered difficulties during climb and failed to gain the necessary altitude.

Local officials said the pilot attempted to maneuver by performing a hard left turn, but the plane ended up crashing just a few hundred meters short of the airport runway.

The aircraft, owned by Skydive Kansas City, was on a skydiving flight when the accident occurred. The plane crashed in a rural area near the airport, and emergency crews and investigators arrived at the scene.
