During a conversation with citizens on social networks, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, also addressed the slogans against him during the protests in Tirana.

He said that those who try to manipulate are the most miserable, calling on them to ignore those slogans.

"Every democrat has a place in that protest. If we say that it is a more civic protest, it is a protest outside of political parties. There are hundreds of thousands of citizens standing up for their rights.

As for the slogans against us… Citizens are free to say the slogan they want. But those who try to manipulate them are the most miserable. Ignore them and do not try anything, do not have any impression from those slogans. The leaves should not prevent us from seeing the trunk. It is the most civic movement we have had since the 90s until today", said Berisha.
