Anti-rally in the face of civic protest, Rama acts 'naive': It's

As the civic protest continues for 13 days in Tirana, Prime Minister Rama has denied that organizing the 35th anniversary celebration of the Socialist Party at the same time and next to the protest constitutes a provocation.

Despite criticism that the SP's activity is being used as a countermeasure to civic mobilization, Rama insisted that it is just a celebration planned for months.

It was even justified by the fact that due to high temperatures, the rally could not be moved.

"I'm very sorry, but first of all, we planned all these months, long before this protest appeared. June 12 is the birth of the Socialist Party, they couldn't postpone the birthday because there was a protest. The time is appropriate for the fact that we are no longer at the previous temperatures and I can't ask people to gather in the sun. We will end it much faster. There is neither provocation nor confrontation here, this is democratic life," Rama said for "Albania Live" on Top Channel.
