Thousands of citizens march through Tirana, returning to the Prime

The 11th citizen protest against the government was accompanied this evening by a massive march on the main streets of Tirana, where thousands of citizens continued to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

After gathering for several hours on the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters dispersed to some of the capital's most frequented axes, turning the march into a broad civic demonstration.

The column of protesters initially passed by the Municipality of Tirana, to continue towards the “9-Katësheve” area, Kavajës Street and 21 Dhjetorit Street. The march then headed towards the “Vasil Shanto” area and the “Dinamo” stadium, before the participants returned to the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Throughout the route, citizens held banners and national flags, while constantly repeating calls against the government. "Rama resigns," "The end has come," "Edi Rama is finished," were some of the slogans that dominated the march.

At the end of the march, the protesters returned to the Prime Minister's Office building, where they continued the rally and repeated the nightly call: "More tomorrow", warning of the continuation of the protests in the coming days.
