Firearms and drugs, three arrested in Durrës

Durrës Police have cracked down on two cases of illegal possession of firearms, arresting three people and seizing weapons, ammunition, grenades and narcotics.

During the operation, citizens LD and AM, both residents of Lezha, were arrested. They were stopped at the entrance to the city of Durrës while traveling in a vehicle and are suspected of transporting a firearm with the intention of selling it.

During the search, the police found a pistol with two magazines and cartridges in the bag of passenger LD. A small amount of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa was also found on this citizen.

In another case, the blue uniforms arrested citizen DT, a resident of the village of Shtrazë in Shijak.
