Berisha calls on Democrats: You must support the protest, the core of this

DP leader Sali Berisha called on all democrats to support the civic protest for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The chief democrat praised the citizens' resistance as the most consequential protest the country has ever seen, while condemning the attacks and insults that Rama has directed at the protesters.

"Every democrat, every supporter of ours must support that protest in every way. They must support it this time without the party symbols. Let it be the youth, because it is a civic, youth protest."

Therefore, my invitation is that every supporter, every sympathizer, every member of the Democratic Party should be in protest. We will say that the protest is the most youthful, the most civic that the country has seen to date. That's what it is.

Never and under no circumstances should the leaves prevent us from seeing the greatness of the trunk. We condemn in the strongest possible terms the labels that Edi Rama applies to the protesters, exploiting and misinterpreting their calls.

Calling them Nazis or followers of Hitler, as followers of Hitler because they say 'Albania of Albanians', to recall a slogan of Mit'hat Frashëri 'Albania of Albanians', is a wild, unimaginable hostility. Mit'hat Frashëri was an enlightened man, a patriot.

"Edi Rama is a fierce enemy, he is a barbarian of the environment in Albania and of the cultural heritage. Albania has never had one like him! He is a destroyer of the cultural heritage and the environment. There is no such person in history, no such person is recorded in history," said Berisha.
