Former SP MP explodes against Balluk: The founder of corruption practiced her craft on the SP anniversary

Former Socialist MP Petro Koçi attacked Belinda Balluku after the 35th anniversary ceremony of the founding of the Socialist Party in Fier, accusing her of dividing the Socialists and ignoring the contributions of the party's founders.

Koçi calls Balluku the "founder of corruption," claiming that she practices politics through fear and servility.

In his reaction, he accuses Balluku of political revenge, manipulation of electoral processes within the SP, and inclusion of inappropriate figures in the lists of deputies.

According to Koçi, no one can erase the history and contribution of the founders of the Socialist Party in Fier.

Further, he recalls the role that the Fier Socialist Party had in the early years of pluralism, describing it as a model of organization, democracy and political modernization.

The boulevard burns, corruption flourishes.

The founder of corruption cannot help but practice her craft even at a ceremony celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party.

She usually instills fear and servility wherever she is sent, in state or party duties.

Yesterday also showed the evil habit of dividing the founders of the Socialist Party.

Some invited them, some forgot them. The servile and cowardly people around her didn't bother her.

He openly performed an ordinary act of revenge.

No one can throw the hierarchy of contributions to the founding, modernization, and strengthening of the Socialist Party in the trash.

Not at all the image of an individual who inspires the nightly protests on Tirana's boulevard and who feeds the DP in Sali Berisha's. Not at all the man who in the May 25 elections brought to the history of the PS the shame of stealing votes even within the party, verified by the recount process, or the scandal of falsifying the composition of the winning list in the first counting of ballot papers. And never the man who included in the list of deputies the suckers of those who made the socialists' votes and sacrifices a mother in the red line elections of 1996 or of those who took off their underwear in front of the women of Libofsha.

The founders of corruption cannot eradicate the history of the founding of the Socialist Party.

How did PS Fier become the political capital?

The year 1992 was decisive in the process of transforming the Socialist Party into a strong and modern organization.

The challenge has been primarily intellectual and moral.

The Socialist Party quickly became the political soul and conscience of the Fierce society. We built a party that served the citizens as a model of exemplary honesty and full institutional democracy. They found in the Socialist Party what they lacked in their relationship with the state and the government of the time.

Political theses required convincing and honest argumentation.

At the organizational level, we are starting a process that is almost unique in some elements.

First, we established the party with initiative groups in each unit, mainly with new cadres who did not come from the PP.

70% of the membership was completely new and unrelated to the PP.

Second, we built organizations based on professions where intellectual contribution found a ground fulfilling the aspirations of hundreds of specialists coming from different fields of the professional system. Organizations of Specialists in Oil, Education, Health, Culture, Agriculture, Finance and Economics, Business, etc. returned to the political terrain of processing arguments, ideas and alternative governance.

We quickly understood the need to increase capacity and a coordination instrument in the territory, so we first established the zonal council and proposed it as a statutory obligation to the Presidency of the Albanian Socialist Party.

Public documents, memoranda, public requests, and communications of the Fier Socialist Party had European formats.

These contributions make the PS Fier the best organization in the country.

Let us not forget that this activity extended to every unit not only of present-day Fier, but also of Mallakastra, Patos and Roskovec. Later Mallakastra separated into itself.

What needs to be changed?

I think we should abandon the concentration of all power in the hands of delegates.

To increase the power of the membership in political decision-making.

At the regional level, a collegial structure should be established by decision of the Assembly that discusses and decides on key issues and political developments at the local level.

People with personality should be elected to the leadership of the SP at the municipal level through a voting process.

Prohibit the association of delegates with dozens of departmental administration managers.

Because the public confuses patronage agents with delegates' companions, and this creates misunderstandings and insults for those elected to local structures.

To release from responsibility, and to delegate, persons who are under criminal prosecution.

Only one bravery is needed today: to be honest.
