Midnight is approaching, but the protesters are not backing down. Peaceful march

Even though the clock is approaching midnight, the protesters have shown no signs of retreating. After more than 5 hours in the square and on the streets of the capital, thousands of citizens continue their peaceful march in Tirana, keeping their energy and calls against the government unchanged.

On the ninth day of the civic protest, participants have traversed some of the main axes of the capital, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and repeating the slogans that have accompanied the movement since day one.

"Rama resign", "New Albania", "Join us" and "Down with corruption" were some of the calls that were heard throughout the evening, as protesters marched peacefully under the supervision of police forces.

Despite long hours on foot and hot temperatures, citizens have continued to remain mobilized, turning the protest into one of the longest and most sustained rallies in recent days.

Young people, family members, retirees and citizens from different areas of the country have continued their march in the center of Tirana, emphasizing that the protest will not stop until their demands are heard.
