Vote counting begins in Kosovo, first results published

After the closing of polling stations across Kosovo, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has begun the vote counting process for the early elections of June 7, 2026.

Counting centers have begun receiving election material from polling stations, while CEC officials have announced that preliminary results will be gradually published on the institution's official platform, once the data from the field is processed.

The CEC has called for patience, emphasizing that only the results published by this institution should be considered as an official reference for the progress of the elections.
