"Blackened eyes and pulled out hair"/ Father of the raped 17-year-old: Police took no action

The father of the 17-year-old raped by her three friends in Fier, a video that went viral in the media and social networks, shocking public opinion and prompting investigations, confessed today on the show "With an Open Heart" on News24, details from the serious incident of June 8.

The friends, two 15-year-olds and a 20-year-old, trapped the minor with a surprise and there they brutally raped her, punching, kicking and pulling her hair.

The police launched an investigation, escorted the three suspects, and the Court issued security measures, with the eldest being arrested and the two minors being pursued at large.

The father also recounted how he learned of the shocking event, as he himself was in Orikum for work.

"The girl is a little better now. I got the girl on the phone by chance, I actually had a premonition. I told her where you were. She said I was out. I called her again, but she hung up. Then she said I was getting serum, I'm in the hospital. I asked her what's wrong? She said she wasn't feeling well, I told my daughter-in-law to go to Fier because the girl is sick, I was in Orikum at work and they told with that the girl had been beaten, my sister-in-law told me," he said.

He further states that the girl had known the perpetrators through friends and that she was attending a hairdressing course in Fier, but they trapped her and raped her.

"They told me that it was friends with friends, to clarify something, at the time, they said we will clarify something and there they took her home and what you saw happened. They didn't say anything, they didn't even tell my wife. My sister-in-law didn't show me the video, she simply told me that they beat her up, that the video was posted on the chat and that some 15-year-old boys had told her that she had been raped, about the video, that it had been distributed," he continued his story in a telephone conversation for the show.

Then came the denunciation from the girl accompanied by her mother to the Fier Police. The father says that they only escorted her there, while there is information that only one of them was detained. He confesses that the girl has many signs of violence, black eyes and hair pulled out, suffered from barbaric violence, while in the hospital they only gave her a serum.

"We reported it but no action was taken, nothing, nothing, nothing. The girl had signs when we reported it, only signs. Behind the ear, hair loss, black eyes, marks on the back of her neck. The doctors had given her serum, that's all and 'go, goodbye'". The bride went to the police two or three times and they said what are you doing here, go away now because we'll deal with her now, they said. I know that one of them is inside, that's all. The girl only knew her through friends. Only one of them. The girl was taking a hairdressing course there. I also visited the doctor, he said there was nothing else, teenage things. We will also visit her in Tirana", said the father, worried about what had happened.

He appealed for the case to be pursued, saying that his daughter was now feeling a little better.

In the session to verify the security measures, the court accepted the Prosecution's request, imposing the measure of "prison arrest" for the 20-year-old suspected of being involved in the incident.

For one of the two 15-year-olds, the measure of "house arrest" was confirmed, while for the other, the court decided on "temporary hospitalization in a psychiatric hospital."
