Parliament "barricades" the entrances, the socialists do not hide

Since the early hours of the morning, numerous State Police forces, as well as water tankers, have been deployed in the areas surrounding the Parliament, as part of security measures for the session.

Although no protesters have appeared in the area so far, the increased police presence comes after the events of the previous session, when a citizen protest took place in front of the Parliament, which was accompanied by tensions and clashes with the police.

During last week's protest, police used tear gas to disperse the crowd and arrested 19 protesters. The detainees were later released by court order.

Authorities have increased preventive measures to ensure the smooth running of the parliamentary session and to avoid a repeat of previous incidents.
