New details have emerged from the investigation into the murder of Eglant Koç, a crime for which Armand Shakaj is wanted. According to investigative sources, after the incident he hid for about 10 days in the Elbasan region, changing his appearance to avoid being identified.

During this period, Shakaj is suspected of staying in hotels and daily rental apartments in various areas of the district, while in cases where identification was requested, he used forged documents.

Investigations show that he did not use personal vehicles, but moved only by taxi. It is suspected that he also stayed in the areas of Peqin and Cërrik, following the same modus operandi to avoid detection. 
 
According to the investigation group, these movements were confirmed during the verifications carried out after the crime. At one point, investigators managed to locate Shakaj's mobile phone signal in the Elbasan region and organized an operation to arrest him.

However, he fled before police intervention and was again lost to trace.

Armand Shakaj remains on the run. Investigators suspect that he is being helped by close associates, with whom he continues to maintain contact.

According to investigations, on June 4, Shakaj killed his friend, Eglant Koçi, and then transported the body to the Korrë peak area, at an altitude of about 1,450 meters, near the village of Cerrujë, where he abandoned it.

The body was found by police about two weeks later.
