IDC-CDI meets in Brussels, Berisha participates as Vice President

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, is participating in the proceedings of the General Assembly of Centrist Democrat International (IDC-CDI), the largest center-right political organization in the world, where he serves as Vice President.

The Assembly has gathered in Brussels political leaders, former presidents, MEPs and representatives of member parties from Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia to discuss global political developments, challenges to democracy, strengthening the rule of law and international cooperation.

The proceedings were opened by the President of IDC-CDI, former President of Colombia Andrés Pastrana, while the Secretary General’s report was presented by MEP Antonio López-Istúriz. The Assembly’s agenda includes speeches by political figures, discussions in plenary session with members of the Executive Committee and leaders of member parties, as well as the adoption of resolutions on key issues of international politics.

In his capacity as Vice President of IDC-CDI, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha is part of the management of the proceedings of this forum, which represents one of the most important platforms for cooperation between center-right political forces at the global level.

His participation in this Assembly reconfirms the active role of the Democratic Party in international forums and the commitment to strengthening relations with political partners who share the values ​​of democracy, freedom and the rule of law.
