Brazil still in crisis, fans attack Federation after motivational video

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF)'s attempt to motivate fans after their elimination from the 2026 World Cup has not been well received by the public. A video posted on social media a week after the team's defeat to Norway has sparked widespread negative reactions.

In its message, the CBF called on fans to look ahead, promising that the national team will return stronger at the next World Cup, with the aim of winning a sixth world trophy.

However, this appeal did not convince the "Selecao" supporters, who considered the post a vain attempt to assuage the disappointment after the elimination in the round of 16. The 2-1 defeat to Norway has increased dissatisfaction with the direction of Brazilian football.

On social media, many fans accused the federation of focusing more on marketing than solving the national team's problems. Some comments described the message as "empty rhetoric", while others called for profound changes in the leadership of the CBF, arguing that only a reform of the institution can return Brazil to the top of world football.

The reactions show that the fans' disappointment is not only related to the elimination from the World Cup, but also to the way Brazilian football has been managed in recent years.
