The mother of former police officer Santiago Malko has sought justice for her son during the hearing at the Special Court of Appeals, where the accused of his murder, Ilir Selmani, appeared.

During the trial, she reacted strongly in the courtroom, demanding Selman's punishment and accusing him of being responsible for her son's murder.

"This man killed my son, he should be sentenced to 28 years in prison or bring my son home to see him and get him out of here," the victim's mother said.

Meanwhile, Ilir Selmani has continued to deny involvement in the events, declaring before the court that he is innocent and has no connection to the murder of Santiago Malko. He has also accused the prosecutor of manipulating the file.
