Citizens take to the streets again, protest enters 44th day

Protests against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama continue this Monday, while citizens have announced another rally as part of the 44th day of mobilization.

As in previous days, participants will first gather at Skanderbeg Square, then march towards the Prime Minister's Office building, where they will give speeches and express their positions regarding, according to them, corruption and issues related to the country's governance.

The protesters have declared that they will continue the action until Prime Minister Edi Rama resigns, reiterating their demand for his removal from office.

One of the announcements made by the organizers is the submission to SPAK of the Normative Act with which the government approved the 4 million euro fund to support the concert of the artist Ye (Kanye West) in Tirana. Earlier, they also submitted the book "Albanian Files" to the Special Prosecution Office, as part of their denunciations.

The slogans that have accompanied the rallies so far, such as "Rama, resign", "Rama in prison" and "The end has come for you", are expected to be heard in this protest as well.
