"It's disturbing", Dua Lipa comments for the first time on the

World-famous singer Dua Lipa has commented for the first time on the protests that have been taking place in Albania for weeks, expressing concern about legal changes that, according to critics, paved the way for a luxury resort project linked to Jared Kushner.

During an episode of her podcast Service95, in a conversation with philosopher and writer Lea Ypi, the artist expressed that she considers it "disturbing" that environmental protection can be changed without a regular public consultation process.

Dua Lipa did not take a political stance or call for protests, but focused her message on the importance of transparency and citizen involvement in decision-making on issues affecting the environment.

Her statement comes at a time when the protests, known as "Flamingo", have been ongoing for weeks and have expanded from opposition to the resort project into a broader movement with accusations of a lack of transparency and favoritism.
