Daytime murder in Kamëz, police react: No others injured in the incident

A serious incident was recorded this Monday morning in Kamëz, where a 27-year-old man lost his life after being shot with a firearm.

According to a statement from the Tirana Police, at around 11:25 a report was received that Ardian Baloshi, around 27 years old, had been transported to the hospital without any signs of life.

Police have identified Sadik Llanaj, around 39 years old, as the suspected perpetrator, who has been declared wanted.

To capture him, checkpoints have been set up on main road axes, while numerous police forces are conducting intensive field checks.

The police explain that no other people were injured in this incident, while emphasizing that the operation to locate and arrest the suspected perpetrator continues.

Today, at around 11:25, a report was received that citizen AB, around 27 years old, was transported to the hospital without any signs of life.

Immediately after receiving the notification, an investigation group was set up and the first investigative actions were carried out. From the evidence administered so far, it is suspected that citizen A. B was shot with a firearm on “Dervish Luzha” street, in Kamëz, after a conflict for weak motives.

The suspected perpetrator of the incident has been identified as citizen S. Ll., aged around 39. Checkpoints were immediately set up on the main road axes, additional police forces were deployed on the ground, and intensive checks are being carried out to locate and capture him.

A special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, document it legally, and hold the perpetrator legally accountable.

We clarify that there are no other citizens injured by this event.
