A petition calling for the removal of Prime Minister Rama has gone viral online.
Currently, around 395,000 citizens have signed the petition to remove Rama from the prime minister's chair.
"Albanians, make your voice heard. If you believe that change is needed, don't be silent - sign this petition and stand up for what you believe is best for the future of the nation," the petition further reads.
This comes 9 days after Tirana, cities in Albania and the Albanian diaspora around the world protested demanding Rama's resignation. The capital has been filled every day with tens of thousands of young citizens, parents with children, and the elderly demanding the prime minister's departure.
