Elbasan's 22-year-old striker dies in accident

A serious piece of news has shocked Kosovar and Albanian football. Fation footballer Fatmir Bunjaku has lost his life at the age of 22 as a result of a tragic accident.

The young man's untimely passing was announced through an announcement from the village of Samadrajxhe, where family, friends, and fellow villagers expressed their sorrow for his loss.

The bitter news was announced by the Samadrajxhe village website, which announced the young man's passing.

"We announce with sadness that Fation Fatmir Bunjaku passed away last night in a tragic accident. We will inform you in due time about the day and time of the funeral," the announcement says.

Bunjaku was considered one of the promising talents of Kosovo football. During his career, he was active in several well-known teams in Kosovo, while most recently wearing the Elbasan jersey. He had also been part of the Kosovo U-21 national team, representing the country in the international arena.
