Transparency Board sets new fuel prices

The Transparency Board has set new fuel prices on the market today.

The retail price of diesel was set at 192 lek/liter, while the wholesale price was set at 180 lek/liter. On the other hand, the retail price of gasoline was set at 172 lek/liter, while the wholesale price was set at 160 lek/liter. 

Transparency Board Announcement:

The Transparency Board on June 5, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

-The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 192 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 180 lek/liter.

-The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 172 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 160 lek/liter.

-The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 5th, at 1:00 p.m. and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.
