Bardhi asks Rama to the Assembly: The interpellation is not delegated!

The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has requested Prime Minister Edi Rama to be present at the plenary session for the interpellation called by opposition MPs.

During his speech in the Assembly, Bardhi accused the Prime Minister of avoiding responsibility by delegating, according to him, the interpellation to persons without the competence to represent the government on the specific issue.

He compared the situation to an investigative procedure, emphasizing that responsibility cannot be transferred to other representatives: “It’s like the prosecution summons and they bring someone else in their place.”

Bardhi emphasized that the opposition does not accept the holding of interpellations with delegated representatives, demanding that the prime minister himself face the questions of the deputies.

"It is the second interpellation that the opposition has summoned Rama and the prime minister delegates it to persons without competence and responsibility. The Constitution sanctions the obligation of the prime minister and ministers to appear in the interpellation."

There is no article that gives the Prime Minister the right to delegate responsibility and accountability.

It's like the prosecution summons you and they take you to Erjona Ismaili. You can't do it, it's the same thing. We don't accept to conduct an interpellation.

"With people we didn't ask for, the prime minister must come and give an account. Rama has been refusing every interpellation for at least 3 years," he said.
